Just opposite the entrance there is a small supermarket and within five minutes walk a shopping centre with Bank, Doctors, chemist and a fabulous bakers selling delicious pastries, a variety of French bread and lots of cooked food.
Two large supermarkets are within a ten minute drive from the site.
Le Dattier is about three quarters of an hour from Nice Airport and about ten minutes by car to several beautiful beaches. St Agulf is a really long beach with Palm trees, great for not only sunbathing but long walks in the sun. You can take several activities from here such as wind-surfing, water skiing, jet skiing or parasailing. Frejus beach stretching into St. Raphael is also just ten minutes away with its many restaurants and the new Marina’s in both places. It is an ideal place to catch a boat ride to St. Tropez for the day.
There are many places of interest you can visit like the old villages of Bagnols-en-Foret and Fayence and a trip to Grasse the home of perfume. The Gorge-de-Verdon is another must see a truly spectacular area (rather like the Grand Canyon) and the beautiful Sainte Crois Lake. Monaco is about an hour away by car via the A8 motorway and other towns along the Corniche worth visiting are Cannes and Antibes, which are full of incredible yachts, makes for a lovely day out.
Frejus old town had a typical French market every Wednesday and Saturday morning. It is a great place to sample and buy local produce and have a coffee while listening to the accordion player before having lunch in one of the many restaurants in the square.
The mobile home is a superb base for exploring further afield and spending long weekends in places like Florence, Venice or Rome.
